I’m so impressed with your dedication to your art. The Feeling I get when looking at this couple is a man that laughs to laugh and joke while his mate is quieter but deep ? Did I get your interpretation right ?
You got that right, Leo loves to laugh and enjoys a simple life. Such a joyful and giving person, always offering service to the community. They are friends but not a couple. Margaret is more contemplative. It is interesting how the different personalities shine through in the painting. I appreciate your reflection on this painting.
